Use the clock frame as another frame but frame something else.
Added twelve nails same as the twelve hours on the clock. Then randomly I bought some wools, so I decided to wind the wools on the frame and see what gonna happened.
I do like the texture of wools a lot, it's fluffy but with strength at the same time. Then I feel it's not enough the with straight lines, so I made some balls.
I don't want to cover the lines in the middle, so I added them at the edge, they also could cover the nails. Still, I don't like it, it looks so boring to me, it may looks all right hanging on the wall as a indoor decoration without soul or emotions, it is not what I want indeed.
I made a funny small video though.
I like the texture of the wool at the beginning, so why I don't do something about it?
Then see what I got, finally something excited me, the gel plate transferred the texture of wool very well and with details. I printed it on different back ground to see how the contrast goes. The one on the white paper really looks like a scary and fluffy spider which is quite creepy. I plan to draw on the top of the images or find a way to join them together.
At the main time I still haven't give the frame up. So I did couple of other things to try.
Still, it just doesn't feel right, I guess I just will leave it like that, at least this process give me some other ideas and could lead me to continue the project. I want to try if I could transfer the wool balls into a solid form, which could changed its intrinsically from soft and fluffy to solid. How? Will it come true? I guess I will try to find it out.
