Mold Making

We been taught to how to use different materials to make molds, such as plastic and gel. Mold making is quite important, especially when we want to create a group of repeat subjects.

Show you what I did by a simple process- plastic transfer to ceramic sculpture.

The process is showing step to step by the pictures. By the end I got a pair of sculptures with fluent shapes. For further exploration, I could repeat the plastic or the ceramics to create a group of installation art. Now you can see how important to learn the mold making skills.
