As how I planned to do with my print outcomes, I did a mix material collage on a 50cm x 50cm canvas.
I used fabrics, lace pieces and prints to make layers, also stitching beads on it. When I saw the repeating pattern of bra I recognized it looks like eyes. So I layered one side with all the elements to make a feeling that one eye is covered by shadow, the other eye been created by beads, then they could make a contrast. However, when I finished at that part,, I feel the dark side need to be darker. Therefore, I did a small test.
Same time used different tools to see if I could make some texture.
Black and red looks just right for me, so I continued to create my main collage.
To be honest, I quite like the result by the end. It's a complex image which has passion, chaos and organized at the same time. There's one thing that I don't feel hundred percent like it. It's the beads eye, It makes me feel like it haven't been connected enough with other parts. If I do another one, maybe stitching the eye by strings will be better?
