This's actually my second time down to the sculpture park, however, I feel it looks even
better than last time and I had a lot of fine with my group people.

The way how Yorkshire Sculpture park exist is special. It's holding a big mount of large size
sculptures outdoor on the grass, between the nature which is amazing me, it doesn't matter
how many times I been there! The outdoor opening space for displaying all the sculptures is so welcoming to everyone, especially for children.
I did see Sophie Ryder's sculptures in the Lake Side gallery before, this time when I see the
huge lady hare sitting on the ground, in the nature, I deeply feel that's exactly where she
belongs to! I walked around her once and once again, the band between me and here was
never happened before when I saw other lady hare at the indoor gallery. There's a gap
between her which makes the view even more interesting. Every time when I see the huge
size sculptures always makes me thinking the process of making them? How the artist made
it, where and what materials? I listened an interview of Sophie, she said most of her huge
sculptures all made by herself, which makes me more respect of her.

There's a huge underground installation piece which I haven't seen last time when I visited.
It's a simple concrete shelter with a square shape open ceiling. So when you sit down inside, up your head you could have a piece of sky which is belong to you at the moment.

I do love this shelter so much. The artist didn't make a sky, however, he uses a way to make us enjoy the sky, as a moving art piece. While I sit inside I feel I could hear all the voices from the
nature creatures and it calms me down.

There's another interesting thing happens from this trip I want to mention. I did a life drawing
while we walking pass a sculpture from Damien Hirst. Also I post it on my Chinese social
media and surprisingly he responses me. I know it cannot be himself, must be someone who
manages his account, still makes me super happy. Base on this small experience, I do feel the internet has a super power, sometime we need to post more of our works and build the
confidence step by step.
