As an famous female artist Diana Ali never limits her creative areas, and also never let her life as an excuse to stop her being creative to create arts.
During the talk with her, her life experience and her inspirations are delighting me. It doesn't matter what she did as her job, such as restaurant waiter, teacher, it never stop her being creative. After she graduated from her BA fine art, she feels lost and lonely as herself which will be what I could face to the same situation two years later. However, she used her feeling as an idea to inspired her and create art works. (Post-Authorship http://post-authorship.blogspot.com/) I admire her determined and patience to create this project. It's an amazing idea however you need to give your address out and people from all over the world will sent post back to you, that's a huge sacrifice.

There is another important experience I think every of us should to learn from Diana. She never stops looking for opportunities out there, on line or the actual world. She built her own website and always send works out, she is not fear of failed, just keep trying. On and On the galleries or other artists seeing her works more then she becomes to be famous. I guess that's all we should do, keep researching opportunities then have patience to ourselves, one day people will see our works.

I do love the art works that she been created by food elements, such as the image above. It beautifully represents the pure desire about food and sex about humans, and she used the actual chocolate to complete the image which inspired me as well. We should explore more about foods, nature element's sense. My new project is talking about female body shame and self appreciation, I would like to play some self- portrait which is inspiring by Diana.
There is another thing that I learned from Diana by listening her experience. We shouldn't let money situation to stop us being creative. She wasn't rich or famous at the beginning, she used what she had to create art, such as the ten years journey recording on fabrics, and also the project what she is exploring at the moment, she just creates a small projector on the top of her wash machine. She said she always knows that she wants to be an artist. I guess because the determined that she never let anything stop her being creative.
After the talk with Diana, I recognise that I should open myself a bit more to my art works, I always afraid that my experience are too dark, however maybe I could do something similar as Diana, transfer the darkness by an sweet way, such as the after math, the sweet jam represents blood scenes.
