Barbara was great female sculpture artist. She was good at using different materials to create her works, such as wood, stone and metal.

Compare to the other artist's work, Barbara's works are much more abstract.

I love her art works because the abstract forms all have amazing smooth lines, I wonder how she made them. Also, when I see her arts that reminds me another British artist as well, Henry Moore.

I do like Barbara's sculpture display at outside though, especially in the natural. That makes me feel her sculpture is part if the natural world.

Therefore, why I think Barbara's works are art?

I think for her, she made the connection between her works and the natural. Once she displayed the sculpture into the natural, she gave the sculpture a life, it lives in the natural now.
